# FIXXO — Outreach Scripts by Category

**Companions** `PARTNER_OFFER.md` (the offer) · `../outreach/VOICE_AGENT.md` (objection library) · `../outreach/COMPLIANCE.md` (the law) · `../outreach/SMS.md`

**How to use:** a common skeleton, then one customised block per category. The hook changes; the offer never does. **Human-dialled first. WhatsApp only after opt-in. Nothing outside 8:00–21:00 local.**

---

## 0 · The common skeleton (every call, every category)

**Open (8 seconds):**
> "Hi, is that {name} at {business}? — {your name} from Fixxo. We're launching a home-repair service across Herndon, Reston, Chantilly, Ashburn and Fairfax. Is now an okay moment for thirty seconds?"

**If yes — the three qualifiers:**
1. "Are you still active with your {licence type}?"
2. "How many jobs a week are you running at the moment?"
3. "How are you getting work today — word of mouth, or platforms?"

**The offer (say the numbers):**
> "Fixxo works the opposite way to the lead sites. Nothing to pay to see a job, nothing to quote it. We take 15 to 18% only when the job is finished and the customer has approved it — you keep 82 to 85%, paid three to seven days after a photo check. And the customer's money is already in escrow before you start, so you're not chasing anyone."

**The close (one ask):**
> "Can I book you fifteen minutes with our verification team — {slot}?"

**If they're not interested:**
> "Understood. Thanks for your time." Then log the disposition. If they said don't contact, the suppression writes immediately.

**Compliance, every call:** identify Fixxo and the purpose · 8:00–21:00 local · DNC scrubbed within 31 days · **do not record without spoken consent** (Washington is all-party, but our markets are Virginia) · never promise volume.

---

## 1 · Plumbing

**The hook:** urgency plus the winter spike. Plumbing is 14% of the market, 87% of jobs are repairs, and it's the most year-round trade there is.
> "Plumbing is the one trade that never goes quiet — and you're heading into freeze season, which is your busiest six weeks. The question I'd ask is whether you'd rather fill the gaps in February with work you didn't pay a lead fee for."

**Say this number:** "On a $300 repair you take $249. On a water heater you take about a thousand."

**SMS (only with consent):**
> `{first}, thanks for the time. Fixxo partner detail: {link} — no fee to see a job, 15–18% only when it's done and approved. Reply STOP to opt out.`

**Note:** water-heater work is licensed plumbing in Virginia **at any price** (18VAC50-30-10). Never let a plumber describe splitting a job to stay under the Class C floor — flag it, because it's a compliance risk for us both.

---

## 2 · Water heaters (same list as plumbing; separate conversation)

**The hook:** highest-urgency, highest-ticket routine job, and 100% repair.
> "Water heaters are the best job in plumbing — same-day urgency, $1,200 to $2,400, and the customer says yes because their floor is wet. We price them fixed, so you're not quoting at the door."

**Say this number:** "A standard 40-gallon swap is a $249–320 net to you for a 90-minute job, and the parts are yours to source."

**SMS:**
> `{first} — the water-heater tickets are going live first in {city}. Fixed price, paid in 3–7 days, no lead fee. Details: {link}`

---

## 3 · Electrical

**The hook:** highest hire rate of any trade (41% of renovating homeowners) plus real growth.
> "Electrical has the highest hire rate of any trade where homeowners are doing work — 41% — and it's the fastest-growing category because of EV chargers and smart-home. That's why we're launching it rather than roofing."

**Say this number:** "Panel work and EV chargers are $400 to $2,500 tickets, and the fee doesn't change on the size."

**SMS:**
> `{first}, Fixxo opens electrical first in {city}: EV chargers, panels, smart-home. No lead fee, 15–18% on completed work. {link}`

---

## 4 · HVAC

**The hook:** biggest category in the country and the heat-pump shift.
> "HVAC is the biggest category in home services — about $158 billion a year — and the ground just moved: electric heat pumps outsold gas furnaces 25% in the first half of last year. That's the install work we'd be sending you."

**Say this number:** "HVAC averages $4,500 a job, and the maintenance plans are the recurring part — that's the piece we'd build with you."

**If they run maintenance plans:** "Our membership product is designed to feed the same customers back to you twice a year. That's your recurring revenue, not ours."

**SMS:**
> `{first} — HVAC goes live in {city}. Heat pumps and service work, fixed price, no lead fee. Want the partner detail? {link}`

---

## 5 · Appliance repair

**The hook:** the most repair-dominant category that exists.
> "Appliance repair is 96% repair work — the highest of any category there is. People don't upgrade a dishwasher, they fix it, and they want it done this week."

**Say this number:** "$300 average ticket, three to six jobs a day if you want them, and no appliance licence needed under $1,000 in Virginia."

**Note:** gas, refrigerant or attached electrical work still needs the relevant licence. Confirm before onboarding.

**SMS:**
> `{first} — Fixxo is opening appliance repair in {city}. No lead fee, no app, jobs by text. Detail: {link}`

---

## 6 · Handyman / assembly

**The hook:** easiest onboarding, no licence moat, fills the in-between time.
> "Handyman is the cheapest trade to start and the fastest to get work in — no state licence under $1,000 in Virginia, and it fills the days between your bigger jobs. That's exactly where small jobs die on a calendar."

**Say this number:** "$250 average ticket, and our system bundles nearby small jobs so a half-day becomes a full one."

**SMS:**
> `{first} — handyman and assembly jobs go live in {city} first. No lead fee, paid in 3–7 days. {link}`

---

## 7 · The women-technician script (the most important one)

Different audience, different opening. This is not a fee conversation — it's a *routing* conversation.

**Open:**
> "Hi {name} — {your name} from Fixxo. We're launching a home-repair service across five cities in Northern Virginia, and the pilot is women-delivered: every job in the pilot is matched to a woman technician. I'm calling because we're building that network now and I'd rather recruit the first thirty properly than blast a list."

**The three qualifiers:**
1. "How long have you been licensed?"
2. "Are you working inside a firm, or on your own?"
3. "What kind of work do you actually want more of?"

**The offer (the women-first terms):**
> "Three things that are different here. One — work comes to you first in this pilot, not last. Two — the pay is published: 15–18% for everyone, and you keep 82–85%, paid 3–7 days after the photo check. Three — you set the rules: your radius, your minimum, the categories you'll take and the ones you won't, in your own words. No doorstep quoting, ever. And if you need to decline an address or flag one, you can, without penalty."

**The close:**
> "Verification takes about twenty minutes and we do the licence and insurance legwork. Can I book you a call this week?"

**SMS (with consent):**
> `{first} — Fixxo's NoVA pilot is women-delivered. Work routed to you first, published pay, your own rules. Verification takes 20 min: {link}`

**What NOT to say:** never "we need women for the optics", never a promise of volume to fill a quota, never a discount on the fee as a favour. The terms are the terms; the difference is **routing**, **priority** and **published pay**. That is a real commercial offer and it should be pitched as one.

## 8 · Channel order (per `../outreach/COMPLIANCE.md`)

| Order | Channel | Consent needed | Use |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | **Human-dialled call** (Mode A/B) | DNC + hours + identification | First contact, always |
| 2 | **Email** (E1/E2) | CAN-SPAM opt-out | Parallel cold channel — lawful for B2B |
| 3 | **SMS / WhatsApp** | **Prior express written consent** | Only after they opt in on a call or the form |
| 4 | **In-person / trade counter** | n/a | Supply houses, trade events |

**WhatsApp is not a cold channel.** Business-initiated WhatsApp messages require opt-in and pre-approved templates under Meta's policy, and are TCPA texts on top. Use it as the *conversation* channel once someone has opted in — see `CONTACT_COLLECTION.md`.
